In 1991, Approved Freight Forwarders opened its doors offering freight service to Guam. We soon followed with service to Hawaii and kept growing. Today, we utilize West Coast terminals in Los Angeles, Oakland, and Seattle, plus our terminals in Honolulu, Maui, Hilo, Kona, Kauai, Anchorage, and Guam. This allows us to provide all of your freight and logistics needs in the Pacific and beyond.
Our decades of experience mean that no shipment is too large, too heavy, too fragile or too unusual for our experts to tackle. We love a logistics challenge, and we welcome yours.
Los Angeles Terminal
The Port of Los Angeles has been ranked as the #1 container port in the country for the last 20 years. It’s also one of the world’s busiest seaports, as well as a key gateway for international and Pacific trade. It’s also the place that Approved calls “home.” (Or at least one of them!) Our team at our Los Angeles terminal does it all: warehousing, consolidations, special handling, hazardous materials management, packaging and more. Whether your cargo is arriving at our secure warehouse, staying in storage with us or leaving the warehouse on its way to the steamship line, you can trust that it’s in good hands.
Hawaii Terminals
Approved is the only the only freight forwarder in Hawaii to have its own trucks and warehouses on all four major islands, as well as complete ownership of its Hawaii terminal operations in Honolulu (Oahu), Kahului (Maui), Kawaihae (Kona, Big Island), Hilo (Big Island) and Nawiliwili (Kauai). As a result, we’re able to deliver seamless service from pickup through final delivery—and we’re able to give our customers the priority service and delivery times they deserve.
Guam Terminal
Approved sails weekly from the West Coast to Guam. On the island, we partner with our DeWitt sister company, DeWitt Guam, and operate a terminal, a secure warehouse, a dedicated fleet and a Container Freight Station (CFS), which enables expedited customs clearance. Through this partnership, you can expect the highest level of customer service all the way through the final mile. Have freight headed for a neighboring island in the Marianas or in Micronesia? We can also easily arrange for transshipments.
Alaska Terminal
For deliveries to the Frontier State, we partner with our DeWitt sister company, Royal Alaskan Movers. You’ll find our Alaska-based team either at our office and terminal in Anchorage—or out in the field, supervising one of our many projects all over the state. We use Anchorage as our gateway to the rest of the state’s varied destinations. To meet the challenges of Alaska’s weather, terrain and infrastructure, we work with variety of ocean freight, trucking and specialty partners to transport goods, equipment and supplies wherever they need to go, even to Alaska’s most remote destinations.
