(626) 723-0722Meet the Team Behind Your Shipment
When your freight arrives, you see the shipment. We see all the people who helped get it there.
At Approved Freight Forwarders, our warehouse team plays an essential role in every shipment we handle. They receive it, inspect it, prepare it, protect it, organize it, consolidate it and make sure it is ready for the next step in its journey.
If you scanned the QR code on your shipment, there is a good chance someone on this page had a hand in getting it to you.
The People Who Keep Freight Moving
Our warehouse is powered by an incredible group of people who take pride in what they do.
Some of our team members have spent years learning the details of freight moving to Hawaii, Guam, Alaska, Puerto Rico and destinations around the world. They understand that every pallet, crate, container and shipment represents something important to the customer waiting for it.
That is why we wanted you to meet them.
Each shipment sticker identifies a member of our warehouse team who helped prepare your freight. It is our way of putting a name and a face to some of the people working behind the scenes.
A Warehouse Built for the Freight We Move
Our City of Industry warehouse is at the center of a lot of what we do.
Every day, freight moves through this facility on its way to businesses and customers across the Pacific, Alaska, Puerto Rico and beyond. Our warehouse team handles everything from individual pallets and less than container load freight to larger and more complex shipments. With each getting the same incredible level of care.
The facility gives our team the space, equipment and experience to receive, stage, consolidate and prepare freight for its next destination.
But what we are proudest of is not the building.
It is the people working inside it.
More Than 12 Years Accident Free
Safety is part of how our warehouse operates every day.
Our team has worked for more than 11 years without a warehouse accident, an accomplishment that has even been recognized by the County of Los Angeles.
That kind of record does not happen by accident.
It comes from experienced people looking out for one another, following good processes and taking responsibility for creating a safe workplace.
For our customers, that same attention to safety carries over to the freight we handle. A team that takes care of its people is also a team that understands the importance of taking care of your shipment.
We Really Do Love This Warehouse
We spend a lot of time here, so we have made it more than just a place where freight moves.
Our warehouse has become a gathering place for the Approved Freight Forwarders family. We like it so much that we have even been known to clear some space and throw a company party right here in the warehouse.
Because behind the forklifts, pallets, containers and trucks is a group of people who genuinely enjoy working together.
And we think that matters.
