For ocean shipments please review our full terms and conditions

The shipper has the responsibility to properly mark the shipment and package it in such a way that damage does not occur through normal transportation. When damages occur, the shipper should assist in repairs when practical and possible to do so.

Concealed Damage

When damage is discovered after delivery, it should be reported to the Approved Forwarders [email protected] located in City of Industry, California, 1-800-533-4826 immediately upon discovery and a concealed damage inspection requested. Approved will either waive the inspection and advise you to submit a claim or we will send an inspector to examine the freight. You should hold the freight and packaging until disposition is given.

Time Limits

Notice of concealed loss or damage must be given within 3 days of delivery.
Visible damage or shortage notations must be made at time of delivery on the delivery bill. Our driver will acknowledge and sign the notation.

Response Time

If the claim is in order and no additional documents are required, a check will be mailed or a credit will be issued within a few days. If the claim is not in order or additional documentation or information is required, you will be notified in a timely manner. Our goal is to have the claim concluded within 30 days from receipt. Should you not hear from us, please feel free to contact our claims department at [email protected] or at 1-800-533-4826.
